DetailsDoors open at 6:00 pm $10/$8 in advance Oyate Hotanin (“Voice of the People”) returns for another adventure, hosted by bridge-builder and storyteller Al Gross, featuring Dakota elder poet and storyteller Strong Buffalo and his musical sidekick The Custard Kid. Including live music, poetry, and comedy performances plus video clips, live interviews, and special guests, The Buffalo Show is a unique showcase for Native and Indigenous artists of all disciplines. Tatanka Ohitika (“Strong Buffalo”) is a Dakota elder and poet from the Sisseton- Wahpeton Oyate. He is a decorated Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and American Indian Movement activist who has traveled around the world performing his work, collecting a million stories and writing a “zillion” poems, advocating for indigenous peoples across the globe.
