A memory play based on truth, "The Bernice Project" is about a young single mother in post-World War II rural Wisconsin, fighting to keep her baby after being abandoned by a soldier boyfriend and most of her Catholic family. 24-hour Smackdown

Six new plays created in 24 hours by Twin Cities female theater artists as part of Theatre Unbound's annual Xtreme Theatre Smackdown 2017. Cyborg soldiers

Suzanne Al-Kayali, the director of Women Against Military Madness, will talk about "Drone Warfare and the Cyborg Soldier: Margins of Masculinities." With soldiers perceiving themselves as warriors, how does that role change with the evolution of drones?
